Chief Engineer Supervision for 455 km High Speed Line

Professional Supervision of Infrastructure Construction (Civil Works, Structures, Track Work) as well as installation of all System components (i.e. Power Supply, Catenary System, Sigfnalling and Telecommunication, Security and Access Control System) is one ofthe most important task to ensure successful completion of a Railway Project. Implementation of a High Speed Line under very harsh desert and hot weather conditions were an additional challenge.

Part of my responsibilities were:

• Development and implementation of professional supervision concept for the Project, including staff training, monitoring and recording system
   
• Guidance of all technical supervision teams for each kind of infrastructure as well as system components
   

• Scheduling and organizing the availability of all required technical stafff, experts and supervision engineers in accordance to the Project needs
   
• Coordination of Safety and Quality Department with Supervision activities
   
• Review and final approval of all applied work programmes, technical proposals and documents as well as interim payment certificates by Contractor
